Hico ISD Board of Trustees Election Information 

Candidate Filling Information: On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, Hico Independent School District will begin accepting applications for the May 2, 2020 Board of Trustees Election at the Hico ISD Secondary School’s Administration Office. 

Filing Deadline for a place on the ballot is Friday, February 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. 

Candidate Information
All School Board positions are three-year terms. All Hico ISD residents who meet the eligibility requirements may run for a position in the Board of Trustee Election. 

Candidate application packets may be picked up beginning Wednesday, January 15, 2020, from 7:30am- 4:00pm, at the Hico ISD Administration Office, 901 Cedar St, Hico, TX 76457. Application packets must be received back at the Hico ISD Administration Office by Friday, February 14, 2020 at 5:00pm.

Voting Information 
Applications for ballots by mail may be mailed to:

Last Day to receive ballot by mail: Saturday, May 2, 2020 (Election Day) at 7:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is not postmarked, OR Monday, May 4, 2020 (next business day after Election Day) at 5:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 p.m. at the location of the election on Election Day (unless overseas or military voter deadlines apply). 

Early Voting:
By personal appearance will be conducted each weekday at the Hico ISD Administration Office 901 Cedar St, Hico, TX, 76457 7:30am - 4:00pm April 20, 2020 - April 28, 2020
